Halo fans, we have an announcement! According to major sites such as IGN.com and joystiq.com, some new information about the Halo 4 trailer has been released. It has been announced that on October 18th, during Late Night with Jimmy Fallon the new Halo 4 trailer “Scanned” will be released, after which fans can view the trailer on Xbox’s Youtube channel, or on Halo Waypoint.
The man in charge of the project, David Fincher, is a well-known figure indeed! Having directed some major films, including Fight Club, The Social Network, and The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, he’s now tackling his newest challenge. However, Fincher isn’t directing the trailer, instead he’s the executive producer, leaving the directing to Tim Miller, who some might recognize from his effects work on Scott Pilgrim vs. The World.
Fincher is no stranger to sci-fi either. After his work on Alien 3, this trailer should be a breeze, and according to Microsoft, they’re thrilled with the duo. They also expect to make the game into a “blockbuster” and in it, bring light to the character of Master Chief. The trailer, in essence, will help with boosting its already sky-high popularity, and tease Halo fans into an excited, but peaceful, riot.
Halo 4 is set to release November 6th, 2012.
