Fan have been waiting for years for Valve to release Half-Life 3, and they may have just been given a sign of hope. SteamDB has reported that they found a list of games recently added to the game distribution platform’s database, and Half-Life 3 is among the games added.
SteamDB has a good track record for finding these hidden gems, but they have been wrong in the past. They reportedly found a port of Halo 3 in the system, yet we still haven’t seen anything for that. Basically, feel free to jump and shout, but don’t take this as official announcement.
There were many other games found as well. The full list is below.
- Half-Life 3
- Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc
- Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair
- Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster
- Final Fantasy VI
- Bad Rats Show
- Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-
- Little King’s Story
- STEINS;GATE
- Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture
- Sonic Boom
- Earth Defense Force 4.1
- Criminal Girls
- Stranger of Sword City
I have heard people praise the Half Life games, but I never got a chance to play them. Half Life 3 is still not officially announced after so many years and I think I’ll join the Half Life fans someday.
As for the Halo 3 mention above, it’ll come through Halo MCC for Steam this year. I’m very very patiently waiting for the first release, Halo Reach PC.
