NEWS CONTENT MANAGER
Summary
The News Content Manager’s main responsibility is to manage and publish news content for the website. This will include overseeing a team of writers, editors, and reporters. This person will be responsible for enforcing deadlines and building a strong and efficient team. The quantity and quality of the news content will be a direct reflection of the abilities of the News Content Manager.
Responsibilities
- Manage the News Writers, News Editors, and E-Sports Reporters
- Set and hold quality standards for all news content
- Implement and enforce deadlines
- Ensure that news content is regularly updated and circulated
- Facilitate a cooperative environment between the Writers, Reporters, and Editors
- Attend all team meetings, via Skype, TeamSpeak, etc.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Associates Degree in English or Media related degree, preferred. High School diploma or equivalent, required.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in the media industry or similar field
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and organizational communication skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for gaming and a broad knowledge of the gaming industry
- Background in writing and/or editing news content
- Strong technical knowledge of grammar
- Ability to lead and develop a team

NEWS AND REVIEW WRITER
Summary
The News and Review Writer’s main responsibility is to write assigned news articles, write about the gaming industry and play/review games. This position is responsible for writing assigned articles as well as finding industry relevant news to write about. This position has a minimum 2-hour per day time requirement. This person must have the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced and constantly evolving industry.

Summary
The E-Sports Reporter’s main responsibility is to report on all E-Sports activity in competitive [game]. This position is responsible for staying informed of all upcoming [game] events. (ie, tournaments, leagues, etc.) This person will conduct interviews and be ready to report on strategies, tactics, and all elements within the [game]. This position will serve as the knowledge base within the company when it comes to the [game].

The Video Production manager will oversee the production of video content throughout the company. This will include managing the YouTube Channel and other video projects. This position will manage a team of Video Directors and Editors. This person must have the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced and constantly evolving industry.

The Video Director will create and coordinate video projects. This position will take a concept, idea, or storyboard and coordinate all the elements to produce a final product. This person will coordinate basic weekly video projects as well as projects with a larger production value.

The Graphics Designer is a multi-departmental position within the company. This position will work on projects including image production, promotional media, and other graphics as needed. This person will be creating, manipulating, and editing images to fit a specific need.
