Konami Annouces Blade Wolf DLC for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance

Konami announced a new DLC for their game Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, called Blade Wolf. This DLC is a new playable side-story for LQ-84i, who is known as “Blade Wolf” in the min game. It features multiple hours of gameplay including new unique abilities and characteristics for LQ-84i, while also focusing on his storyline and origin. (more…)

Final Fantasy XI: Seekers of Adoulin Update

It’s been a good month since the release of the newest expansion pack for Square Enix’s flagship MMORPG, Final Fantasy XI. Seekers of Adoulin has already added new zones, several new gameplay mechanics, two new job-classes for players to enjoy and promises of much much more in time.  The slower pace of Final Fantasy XI  allows for players to take part in sweeping, epic narratives that take their characters from the political intrigue of their hometown all the way to fighting the primordial guardian at the source of all worlds. Jagged Alliance: Flashback is Getting a Reset

Danish indie development studio Full Control has launched a Kickstarter campaign to “reset” the Jagged Alliance games. Full Control wishes to maintain the initial style and feel of the original games, minimizing changes to the game that aren’t cosmetic. Full Control got the license for the Jagged Alliance title and story from bitComposer and is looking to build up a monetary base for production in the next thirty days. (more…)

Wyrmbyte Announces Facebook MOBA Game Dragons and Titans

Indie development studio Wyrmbyte announced their first major project, Dragons and Titans, a multiplayer online battle arena game (MOBA, for short; the genre includes Awesomenauts and League of Legends). Wyrmbyte, with the assistance of Zynga, will release Dragons and Titans later this month on Facebook for the current 298 million active Zynga game players. Guild Wars 2 Super Adventure Box and its 80’s Throwback

Throughout the month of April, the Guild Wars 2 continent will be host to Moto, an asura that created a virtual world called the Super Adventure Box. Resident Evil 6 and Left 4 Dead 2 Crossover Inbound

Valve and Capcom are excited to announce a Left 4 Dead 2 and Resident Evil 6 crossover project. The project will feature characters from Left 4 Dead 2 exclusively in the upcoming PC version of Resident Evil 6, and certain enemies from Resident Evil 6 will appear in the PC version of Left 4 Dead 2.
