Playground Games, Turn 10 Studios, and Microsoft announced today that an expansion pack for Forza Horizons will be released tomorrow. It is called the “Rally Expansion Pack” and is set to be ready for download tomorrow on Xbox LIVE. It adds new cars, terrain, and an off-road challenge. With this expansion, the Horizon Festival will expand to include the rally events. It introduces new leaderboards, Rivals challenges, and a new set of career events. These events include big jumps, sudden elevation changes, and new surface varieties.
The Rally Expansion Pack comes with five new cars, each with rally-specific upgrades and customizations. In addition to that, each normal vehicle can be upgraded to race in rally events. Check out the latest screenshots of all the new cars over at GamesFinity’s Tumblr page HERE.
The five cars are:
- 2005 Subaru Impreza WRX STi
- 1982 Lancia 037 Stradale
- 1992 Ford Escort RS Cosworth
- 1992 Toyota Celica GT-Four RC ST185
- 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII MR
Season Pass holders get the expansion for free, while non-Season Pass holders pay 1,600 Microsoft Points. Season Pass holders get a free car per month until March, with the 2003 Ford SVT Focus for December.
